| | Ran a very slow and easy 5 miles along the Provo river running trail. My mid point wher turned back was just past riverside country club. I didn't feel like running much faster until about 3.5 miles. Just trying to ease into a steady running routine. My average pase was 9 min miles. It feels good to run. | |
| | Muscles were sore last night when I ran so I did a 3 mile recovery run. Avr. between and 9 and 10 minute miles. I didn't feel like running or going faster until 2.5 miles into the run. the first morning after my 5 mile run I was very hungry and eating everything in site. morning after 2nd run which is actually the 23 I don't feel as hungry. I think that I would like to switch to morning runs eventually but I would have to run around 4:30 or 5 am to fit it into my morning schedule. | |
| | my right achilles tendon hurt and after a mile I was thinking of just doing three at 1.5 it started to loosen so I ran 5 but I made sure to not push. I ran at an avr 10 min mile picking up the pace after 2.5. in between 2.5 and 3.5 I felt the best I could feel the steady pace kick in and I began to do the gut regulation of my hips making sure that I was keeping a steady rpm. this morning the 24th my achillies tendon was a little sore but I dont think I hurt it. I will probably do another 3 mile recovery run today. | |
| | This has been one of the most difficult runs this week mentally and endurance wise to keep running. Didn't feel like running until 2.5 miles into the run. I saw a lady resting on the trail with lots of bags from maceys about 100 meters from the end of the run. I helped her carry them home. I was able to get and extra .25 miles in because of it. | |
| | I walked 1.5 miles but no running. |
| | ran 2 miles muscle were a little tight I wanted to loosen then up with a short run so I could do a longer run the next day Tuesday. | |
| | I ran 3 miles at a 10 min pace my body is feeling more in shape. I am going to make it a goal to not miss another day of my 6 day running even if it is just 1 mile. | |
| | I am going to try and run 3 everyday. today I ran 1.5 miles to work and 1.5 miles home. There was an hour brake in between while I was working. there is a big hill in the run. | |
| | Felt very slow and sluggish yet I felt that I was in a good running rhythm. 9 min avr. |
| | The muscle in my upper right thigh felt pulled and I got home around 10 pm from the temple. In addition I will be transitioning to morning runs tomorrow so I ran 1 mile today. |
| | I woke at 4:45 this morning and went running. Still trying to take it easy. It has only ben 8 hours since my last run. I ran 11 min miles. Felt good to run in the morning. I am also walking to and from work now a days so that is an extra 3 miles of calorie burning that will help me keep my weight down. | |
| | Felt sluggish ran avr of 9 min miles. I ws running about an 8 towards the end. |
| | one week of 6 day in a row running alright | |
| | I ran home from work changed and ran another mile and a half |
| | This week has been thrown off by going to bed late so I am trying to switch back to mornings. It was late but I ran a mile anyway. Trying to keep up with my commitment and I figure if sasha says it will help me running 6 day a week, he is probably right. | |
| | I have been in open rebellion the last two days against running and working hard specifically. A bit of a vacation from the stresses of live. It really has felt like a vacation. So I will try not to have another one of these running vacations for at least a month. | |
| | Mental vacation felt great. I went running this mornining at 5. It was hard at first to get up but the run felt great. I ran at about a 9min 30 sec pace. I am hoping that over time I will get faster. For right now my goal is to be constent and get my running up to 35 plus miles per week | |
| | I got up late around 5:20 so I only ran three miles. It seems that I start off at a shuffle in the morning but I get much faster towards the end. I ran at about a 10 min mile avr | |
| | Thanks for the constant encouragement Sasha. It has been a big strength I ran these at a 9 min avr. didn't feel like running until 1.5 miles | |
| | I went running at 9:30 pm and hated every stride. But I did it. |
| | Went running at 6:30 this morning and I had to climb on a wall to jump over some water. I think I might have very very lightly sprang my left ankle. I will take it easy and only run 3 tomorrow probably thought I was planning on running 5. | |
| | I ran 1 mile to go easy on the ankle. It was sore during the run but I don't think I went too far. | |
| | Went running in the after noon and it felt great. I think i was running sub 9s around 8 min miles toward the end. There were two girls that started running in front of me about the same speed just a little slower when than I was running but about the same speed so I kicked it into high for about the last mile and a quarter so that I would stay ahead. | |
| | Went running this morning and took it slow at a 10 minute mile pase. It felt great. I would like to do a 5 mile slow run tomorrow morning. |
| | Went running at 6:20 am this morning. It was hard to get out of bed but felt good to run even though I felt I was going really slow. I ran just under 10 min miles |
| | Went running at about 7 am just under 10 minute miles. Felt good. Also walked to work 1.5 miles. I am going to start recording the walking that I do in the comments. | |
| | It was late and I was thinking of skippin but then my wife told me that I would feel better if I ran and she prayed I would have the strength to run in our family prayer. so right afterward at 11 pm I went running. | |
| | another day that was early long and spent with family. everyone started watching a movie late and I stepped out at 11:30 pm | |
| | I think my body is getting in better shape. It least that is what it feels like. I am still running just under 10 min avr. I start slow and probably end somewhere around an 8 min mile or faster. | |
| | I ran three miles in just under 9 min avr miles. There were so many people on the trail cooking, running a at about 7 min mile pace. | |
| | I ran three miles at a sub 9 pace it took a mild push and it felt good. |
| | Ran at an avr of sub 9s I was surprised because I took it easy. I think it was around an 8:45 avr. My plan is to increase by approximately two miles a week | |
| | We were in a hurry for a teachers end of the year party at springville so I ran 3 miles at about a 8'30" avr. |
| | felt worn out and didn't each much during the day I ran at a sub 11 avr |
| | Felt tired but when running. I didn't feel like running until the 4th mile or so. ran an avr 9'45" |
| | I am feeling great, However my calves seem tight. My legs felt tight for the first 2 miles of the run but then they loosened up. | |
| | ran at an avr 10 min mile |
| | ran at an avr 9 min mile. my 5 mile run in half up hill from my house just past river side a few block and half down hill. It is easier to run fast when I am warmed up and running down hill. |
| | I ran 5 miles at about a 9:30 pace |
| | Avr 8:30 miles Probably the last Tuesday for a long time that I will only be running 3 miles. I also walked 1.5 to word and 1.5 home and .5 with my wife today. Walking to work gives me time to read! |
| | I ran these 5 at a sub 9 avr pace. I think one thing that is keeping me at slower times is my stride. I am taking a short one currently. I remember that my stride used to be longer. I will gradually increase this. | |
| | walked 1.5 miles but I did not run. I will run 5 the rest of this week and 10 on Saturday |
| | I went running very late and was exhausted. I only ran 5 miles and not 7 which I felt bad about but my body just wasn't moving and I wanted to get home. I ran at a 10 min mile avr. |
| | I got home from hiking all day in goblin valley. It was very easy for me to justify not to go running, I had exercised all day. So I laid down for a nap and then woke up a couple hours later. My mind could still justify not running but my body couldn't - I had a physical urge to go running. So I got dressed and went. | |
| | I ran a time trial this morning with sasha around the 2 mile loop. I rand the 2 miles at a sub 7 pace. I ran 1 mile warm up and 1 mile cool down and another mile that night. |
| | I ran this about about a 9 minute mile pase |
| | I ran the 6 miles at about a 6.25 mile pase |
| | I was in Layton and ran 3 miles actually a little more up hill and 3 miles down with a steap 1.5 mile stretch. Quads were a bit sore after the run because of the down hill stretch |
| | I got food poisioning on sunday night but I still ran the 6 miles while in richfield Utah by salina. I felt like I was going to throw up and go to the bathroom during the entire run. When I got back and throughout the rest of the day I realize I was really sick. I threw up and had diarea until late that night. I think that I should take it easy tomorrow and drink lots of liquids. I am dehidrated and my body had a slight fever |
| | I was feeling dehidrated today |
| | Drank some salt water which helped with the hidration process ran these six at a slow pace, about 9 min miles | |
| | my stomach was still feeling very weak last night and I was in pain. the only thing that I can really say about last night's run is that I did it and I didn't walk. I ran about 11 min avr miles |
| | The run was still pretty hard today. I thinkt that my body is exhausted and still recooperating from being sick. I ran at about a 10 min avr mile pace | |
| | I ran at just under a sub 9 pace. Thanks for the encouragement Sasha I really appreciate it. |
| | Felt good today but I started slow and lagged between mile 3 and 5. I ran the 6 in just over a 9 min mile pace. | |
| | I decided not to run. it was 10 or 11 and I was mentally an physically beat. I just went to bed it was a long week and day. | |
| | I ran 8 miles at a nine minute mile pace. I the past couple weeks I have been rouding down and dividing into the total time. so 6.5 would be 6 into whatever the total time is. I am going to try and just list the total time from now on and be more exact in how much I run. | |
| | I ran this distance in 55 minutes. |
| | 62 minutes total that included the time that I had to run in to Will's pit stop and use the restroom. Stomach problems. |
| | 65 minutes total that is including the stop that I had to make just a quarter mile from my house. I had to use the restroom. Stomach problems. I think it added 3 minutes or so. | |
| | I ran this in a total of 58 Minutes. I will buy the watch within the next two weeks. |
| | I don't remember what the time was on this but I think it was in the neigborhood of 58 minutes |
| | I ran this sin 90 minutes |
| | I ran 7 miles in 60 minutes I will be ready for speed training soon. I just need to buy a watch. However I made some financial goals the I will be accomplishing towards the end of this week and I decided that I would not buy runnning gear until I had accomplished my goal. So this weekend I will buy a watch. So what should I do for speed training? tempo runs on Saturday? 1 7 pace mile and then a 9 min. Alternating back and forth with a 2 mile warm up on the front and back This week end I would like to run 10 or 13 miles |
| | I ran 7 miles in a total of 57 minutes. I didn't push but I didn't allow myself to slow down. | |
| | I did the total run in about 57.30. I starded with an 8'35" second then did about a 7:45 then went back up to just below 9. After mile 4 I picked up some speed. |
| | ran in place along side my wife. we went two miles |
| | 68 Minutes total it was a hard run |
| | 56.14 I started with a 9 and then went into the some 8 min miles and then some 7'30" ish miles |
| | slate canyon time trial 14:10 |
| | it was my 6 month anniversary so I skipped it, I didn't feel like running |
| | My ham string was tight so I slowed it down 1:09:50 |
| | I ran the 8 miles in 1:06:30 and then I ran a half mile cool down. It felt good I might start doing this cool down thing more often when I wake up early. | |
| | I ran this with no water in 97 degree humid wheather along the trail at 1 pm in the afternoon. Wow! I ran it in 1:15:30. hundred degree weather and no water adds 5-7 minutes to my 8 mile run. |
| | I ran 8 miles in 1:07:25 the first mile took 10 mins and the last was run in about 7:15. After the 8 miles I ran a .5 mile cool down. | |
| | Strained my ham string so I am taking it easy |
| | still hurts I am running slow |
| | traveling all day on a vacation tried to run in the morning but I had too much to do and got to california very late |
| | I didn't run because I got up late and the rest of the day was planned. |
| | I think this is how much I ran. I ran for 75 minustes today on the beach. felt very gluttonous. got up early and went running on the beach for 44 minutes in one direction and then I turned around. | |
| | I think that I ran about 9 miles because I went running for 84 minutes. 45 minutes out and then in pretty fast. I think I strained my right aquilies tendon sometime later in the day. I might have to take it easy this next week? |
| | I just ran 3 at about a 9 min pace. My knees were craving the run. they have gotten achy these last few days I think it is for lack of impact. my my achilies tendon was fine and I didn't feel any pain so I will be running the provo half this saturday. I am looking forward to it. I hope my body is in good enough shape. | |
| | I ran for 20 minutes so I am being conservative and putting down 2 miles |
| | I ran for 46 minutes so I am being conservative and putting down 4.5 |
| | I ran for 54 minutes so I am being conservative and putting down 5 but it was probably closer to 6 miles |
| | I ran for 56 minutes I might have run more than 6 but I am not sure I will start measuring from now one. It is 1.5 to the provo trail from where we live now. so I can run to the train and basically add only a a mile from what I would have run at that point. |
| | I ran 6 miles in 49:34 and I felt good. I am going to move it up to 7 miles at a slow pace next week. If I feel any pain or tension while running I will slow down or try to only run 6 if I haven't reached the half way point. | |
